The Best Trip Ever

Mandy and I met John, Meli and Julia in San Antonio! Julia was excited about EVERYTHING! John was excited about the vegetation. Mandy was excited about the architecture. Meli and I were excited about them being excited. On Thurs. afternoon and evening we went to the Alamo, the River Walk where we ate at the oldest Mexican restaurant in the nation, listened to mariachis and watched Julia dance and took a boat tour on the river. On Fri. we went to Sea World where we saw the Shamu show (orca whales), the Viva show (dolphins, beluga whales and human acrobats), fed and touched dolphins (!), saw sharks at the aquarium and watched Mandy, Meli and John on the Journey to Atlantis Ride. Then we got Texas barbecue food and took it to Government Canyon State Park where we ate it and went for a hike. Then we went to the San Antonio temple and saw the beautiful stain glass windows. On Sat. we saw the gorgeous old homes at the King William historic area and went to 2 of the old Spanish missions from the 1700's. Then we went to an incredible botanical garden. Can you believe we did all that?
