We watched the fabulous fireworks from Scott and Bethany's driveway.
100,000 people watched the fireworks. No wonder the traffic is so bad afterwards. We stayed at Scott and Bethany's for over an hour after it was done (playing Dr. Laura) and didn't have much trouble getting home.

We had a great visit to the zoo while the rest of the world was at the parade. Grammy adopted a flamingo for Celeste.

At the Firecracker 5K Bethany got a great time running and Diane got a great time race walking.
