Celeste's Visit

Celeste, her parents and Mandy came to visit for Conference weekend. On Sat. morning Celeste and I went to a sensory friendly movie showing of Gnomeo and Juliet. (April is Autism Awareness month and one of our client's mother is arranging several activities. There were kids there from our agency.) It was Celeste's first movie in a theater. She did great and ate all the popcorn.

For lunch I cooked cajun food, a 1st for me. We had cajun catfish; red beans, black eyed peas & sausage over rice; shrimp & chicken jambalaya; turnip greens and sweet potato pie.

Sat. evening, Dave & Diane came over. We played Zooloretto and Wacky Six with six people. It was great fun. Then we were up until midnight watching the Dr. Who Season 5 Christmas special.

Dave and Diane came back Sun. for lunch and more game playing. It was a wonderful weekend with everyone and especially the incredible Miss Celeste.
