Dismembering Bears

I love the staff I work with. (Remember they are all in their 20's, but I try hard to not be an old lady.) I was having a hard time breaking a gummy bear into small pieces for reinforcers. A kind co-worker wrote this for me:

1. Grab the gummy bear's upper arms and head, twist until head pops off.

2. Grab the gummy bear's uper arms and lower legs, twist until torso separates.

3. Grab the gummy bear's left leg with your right hand and right leg with your left hand, twist until separated.

4. Repeat step three, but using arms.

5. Grab the gummy bears ears using the process in steps 3 and 4 until head is in 2 pieces.

Also, avoid feeling sorry for the gummy bear. He was honored to be dismembered for this wonderful cause.
